Composer Rodrigo Leão has been known to the Portuguese public since his days with the band Sétima Legião. He later joined Madredeus, a project that increased his visibility even further. In 1993, he released his debut album, Ave Mundi Luminar, marking the beginning of his solo career. This has included an extensive discography of soundtracks and collaborations with artists such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Neil Hannon (Divine Comedy), Beth Gibbons (Portishead) and Michelle Gurevich.

作曲家羅德里戈·萊昂（Rodrigo Leão）自加入樂團第七軍團（Sétima Legião）時期起便為葡萄牙樂迷所熟知，其後加入聖母合唱團（Madredeus）更使其聲名大噪。1993年，他推出首張個人專輯《Ave Mundi Luminar》，開啟個人表演生涯。其豐富的音樂作品涵蓋多部電影配樂，並曾與坂本龍一、神聖喜劇樂團的主唱尼爾·漢農（Neil Hannon）、波提斯黑德樂團主唱貝絲·吉本斯（Beth Gibbons）及蜜雪兒·古列維奇（Michelle Gurevich）等音樂人合作。
